Betty has to “adjust...to the twist of fate which had befallen” her. She supports her brother Red, who will marry his longtime sweetheart Ruth.

Synopsis
After high school graduation, Linda departs for nursing school, leaving her boyfriend Danny at the mercy of vamp Raven. Danny writes and says he and Raven are getting engaged, so Linda leaves school to confront them. On the way, she’s caught by Dr. Roy, who takes her to the scene of a train wreck. Linda uses her nursing skills to help the injured, including Danny and Raven. Later, she congratulates Danny and Raven on their romance. Linda will marry Dr. Roy.
