Originally credited "Warren King?" and also Harry Sahle, but this is identical artwork to Cooper's signed story in Top-Notch Laugh #31, with some scary close up faces with untidy eyebrows, as the one on the last page, which is exactely like one in #31. Cooper is credited on this feature by Jerry Bails' Who's Who.
This is the final appearance of the "Sergeant Boyle" feature in Jackpot Comics. However, the feature is still appearing regularly in Pep Comics (Archie, 1940 Series).
Originally credited "Paul Reinman ?", but not his work. No pointed faces with eyes far apart and out of line.
While not drawn completely in his style, some of the characters exhibit typical Infantino poses.
Based on a question posed by John Fallon, Jim Vadeboncoeur Jr. and Jim Amash have agreed that Carmine Infantino is not the penciller for this story.
