- When Chief Stone Bear is wounded by braves from an enemy tribe, Tonto is entrusted with sitting with the chief while the tribe's medicine bundle helps him heal. During the night, the enemy braves blind Tonto with smoke and steal the medicine bundle. Tonto is told that he must recover the bundle. If Stone Bear dies, Tonto dies.
