Jeff and Amy are parents to newborn twins, Penny and Olga. But, Amy forbids Jeff to ever look upon Olga, and to be satisfied with being a good father to pretty Penny. Confused, Jeff agrees until Amy dies. Then, he enters the room where Olga has always lived. She's hideous! And with her secret out, Olga walks through town, berating the townspeople who vomit at the very sight of her. Finally, wanting Penny and himself to be free of this "monster", Jeff shoots Olga. To his horror, Jeff discovers that Olga was actually nothing more than a sentient face on the back of Penny's head.
John and Becky are lovers but they're married to other people. The puritanical townsmen would never tolerate such behavior, so they keep their affair a secret until John's wife, Priscilla, finds out. To silence her, John kills her and throws her body in the lake. Then, Becky's husband discovers John and Becky embracing and Becky accuses John of attempted rape. The townsmen sentence him to a repeated dunking in the lake as punishment, but every time he goes underwater, John sees Priscilla's corpse drawing nearer. Finally, the dunking seat comes up empty. Priscilla has John all to herself, now.
The King is grief-stricken when his little princess dies after falling from a tower. If only somebody had heard her cries for help over the court's revelry. The unhinged King orders all noise in the kingdom to cease, with severe punishment for any who disobey. Finally, the people can't take anymore and they exile the king to a quiet shack, where he must remain absolutely still or be tormented by the maddening sound of a metronome. When fear of a spider makes him jump and causes more ticking, the King throws himself off a cliff to escape it.
A very nasty guy lives in the swamp. He likes to lure people into a pool of quicksand, and then he fishes them out once they've suffocated. Then, he drags the corpses to his little shack in the middle of the swamp and has a hearty feast of human flesh. Adterwards, it's simply a matter of dumping the bones into the muck, and it's on to the next victim. But, even a swamp can't hold so much bad mojo forever, and the bones begin to attack the stilts of the ghoul's home. It soon collapses, and the killer joins his victims.
Without knowing why, Walter finds himself the only person left alive on Earth. At least, he thought so. But when a phone rings, he frantically answers it. Too late! He fruitlessly tries calling several random numbers, but has no luck. Then, another phone rings and Walter is overjoyed to hear the equally-enthusiastic voice of Genevieve. They arrange a meeting place, but Walter is dismayed to discover that Genevieve has been availing herself of all the now-free candy she can get her hands on, becoming hugely obese. Then, Genevieve starts talking about marriage, and Walter heads for the hills.
Stanley and Ned run a circus freak-show. They keep their "employees" as virtual indentured servants, forcing them to work for next-to-nothing, unable to pay off the loans Stan and Ned gave them. One day, the two men notice a misshapen figure lurking in an alley. They pursue him into a building, shouting offers of employment in the show. When they catch up to the figure, they find out he's a mutated human from a nuclear-irradiated future-Earth. And Ned and Stan have just been pressed into duty in a future freak-show as rare "normal" humans.
Astronauts land on a deserted planet and begin hunting for archaeological evidence of the former inhabitants. They find a huge skeleton of a creature that apparently walked on all fours, but are baffled by its nature. As they take off in their spaceship once again, we are given an overview of the creature. It turns out the astronauts are tiny aliens, and the skeleton was that of a human baby.
Captain Vance Kaye is the commanding officer of an exploratory spaceship. He's obsessed with searching every derelict ship his crew discovers, but nobody knows why. The latest derelict carries a diary that relates the story of how it came to be floating lifelessly in space. The crew had accidentally landed on a planet of vicious exiled criminals, who slaughtered the crew, keeping only the captain alive to pilot the ship to other planets. While in space, the captain sabotaged the ship, sacrificing his life to kill the criminals on-board with him. The captain was Vance's father.
