Synopsis
An evil ancient entity, hidden in St. Roch's hidden basement, holds Khimaera's mate hostage, and forces her to kill humans to feed its appetite for energy. It particularly wants Khimaera to kill Hawkgirl for her heightened energy levels. On the St. Roch docks, Khimaera goes after Lt. Grubs while Lt. Doucette is occupied with Khimaera's human minions. Kendra manages to snare Khimaera in nearby razor wire but Grubs lies dying. With his last breath he admits he knew Hawkgirl's identity all along, and makes her promise to avenge his death against Khimaera and whoever she works for.
