This issue features the post-Crisis debut of Superman's super-intelligence. The Kryptonian text on page 19 is translated as follows: panel 1: "DREADNOUGHT-CLASS CRAFT DESIGNATED 'DOOMSDAY.' UNDER COMMAND OF ADMIRALTY OFFICER DRU-ZOD. AWAITING AUTHORIZATION VOICEPRINT." Panel 3: "OVERRIDE ACCEPTED. WELCOME, COMMANDER."
