Indexer Notes

Introduction of Moro Frost, the Scorpion, a 1930's soldier of fortune in the pulp style. Visually, Chaykin's later Dominic Fortune at Marvel looks like this character.

The Scorpion is gifted with immortality. He was J.C. Clellan Lowe during the Civil War; Virgil Torrent, special envoy to President Teddy Roosevelt; Ben Turck, who fought with Pancho Villa against General Pershing; Michael Christy during the first World War; and now Moro Frost in the late 1930s.
