On page 14, the ledger lists both A. Rub[ano] and Jacque[t]. Rubano WAS at Iger Shop at this time [and appears in this issue], but the probable reference to the Lloyd Jacquet Shop is puzzling.
The "villain" Looney Looey is a caricature of S.M. Iger.
Note the difference in inking on Hawk and Dayton.
