- Synopsis
- Richard Plante, a modern day descendant of King Richard I is recruited by a shadowy British agency to become Lionheart, England's newest champion. His first assignment: to track down the serial killers loose in London. This brings him into conflict with the Justice League, who are also investigating the murders.

The serial killers in the story are the aliens Glonth, Pritor, and Jemin. They are monsters that can assume human form and drink spinal fluid for sustenance. This is a part of the "Bloodlines" story running through all of DC's annuals this year.
