Synopsis
In the final chapter of this adventurous story, Archie and the gang climb back into the earth ship, as another rock person runs onto the scene saying that the lab has just received a shipment of amnesia gas, a harmless gas that will make Archie and friends forget all about the rock people. The ship then burrows back out of the earth. Several hours later, they arrive at the entrance to the mine shaft and start heading for home. Reggie mentions that he doesn't like spelunking. Betty agrees. Archie says it's too boring. Jughead says that they were away all day and nothing exciting happened.

Synopsis
Fred has to go on a diet because Little Archie won't go on walks with him anymore. But when he sees three freshly-baked pies out in the woods, he takes them and eats two of them. Ambrose, who was bringing the pies to the gang's pie auction, tries to solve the mystery of who stole the pies. He gets the evidence he needs when he sees Fred hiding the last of the three pies. Little Archie is crushed to discover that his dad might be a pie thief, while Fred tries to replace the stolen pies, all the while repeating his new motto: "You just can't win."

A student at school named Nicky is littering and writing graffiti on the walls so Archie catches him in the act and takes him to Mr. Weatherbee's office. As a way of getting revenge Nicki takes photos of Archie and doctors them to look like Archie is committing acts of vandalism and it results in Archie being suspended from school. Archie gets even and gets his name cleared by doctoring audio of Nicki and forcing him to confess.
