Synopsis
A few weeks before her wedding to Bob, Helen accepts a ride from Arthur, her friend Jane’s husband. Arthur gets fresh, Helen resists, the car wrecks, Arthur is killed, and Helen flees. The authorities know a woman was with Arthur and Jane says she’ll kill the woman if she finds her. After marrying Bob, Helen has nightmares about the accident. Jane learns Helen was “the woman” and attempts to kill her, but Bob intervenes and saves his wife. Helen and Bob decide “from now on, we won’t know the meaning of the word secret.”

Synopsis

Pete changes his mind and returns to the mine because he fears Sonia will leave him for his rival, miner Jan. Pete is trapped in a mine accident and Jan helps rescue him. Sonia tells Pete she’s willing to wait for him until he finishes law school.

Synopsis
Airline pilots Roger and Larry compete for the affections of stewardess Leslie. She chooses Roger and they become engaged. Larry reacts badly: “She can’t marry a corpse. And when I kill you, I’ll kill her, too. If I can’t have her, nobody will!” The two men struggle and Larry is killed. Roger flees to Brazil to work for a tramp airline. His new girlfriend Pepita sends Roger back to Leslie. Roger learns Larry didn’t die, so Roger and Leslie can now be married.
