Synopsis:

Synopsis:
Mousy secretary Judy befriends impoverished aspiring actress Terry. Judy falls in love with Gil, but he prefers Terry, so Terry leaves town to give her friend a chance with him. Terry is involved in an accident and contracts amnesia. Judy reunites Gil and Terry, since she knows they really love each other. However, the confidence she gained while dating Gil will allow Judy to have a happy social life of her own.

Terry "Michael" is spelled "Micheal" on page one. Also, one page one Judy introduces herself as "Judy Hill" but later she is called "Judy Carter" and a sign on her desk reads "Miss Carter."

Synopsis:
Nurse Julie loves Dr. Roy, then catches him with another woman. Julie runs away and catches pneumonia, losing her will to live. In the hospital, nurse Amy tells Julie her own story: she fell in love with Tom, but discovered he drank too much and was a draft dodger. Amy then fell in love with Greg and feared he was also avoiding military service until she learned he worked for military intelligence. They were married and Greg was killed in the war a month later. Julie decides to ask Roy to explain: he says the woman she saw was his cousin. Julie and Roy get back together.

"Kincaid" is spelled "Kinlaid" in one panel. In various other panels, it looks like it originally said "Kinlaid" but someone corrected the spelling to "Kincaid."
