- Synopsis:
- Captain Paragon wakes up and breaks out of his cell at Latimer Laboritories. He is about to leave when Nicola asks him to help her father who is being controlled by some unseen menace. Suddenly the Shroud appears and tries to convince Captain Paragon that he is a ghost because Captain Paragon killed him. Mara arrives and convinces Captain Paragon that he never killed the Shroud, he was just pretending to die so that he could destroy Captain Paragon with the guilt he was feeling. The Shroud seems to transport them both to another dimension but Captain Paragon figures out it is mind control and he breaks the hypnotic hold the Shroud had on them. The Shroud disappears and Captain Paragon and Mara leave before Proxima can find them. Nicola tells her father that the Shroud is gone but the Shroud's cape is seen hanging up behind the door in his room.
