Synopsis
Supergirl and Power Boy patrol together, kiss, and go to her apartment. She leaves to find who's trying to kill her. Power Boy then hears a message from Boomer that he is badly hurt. At the Batcave computer, Supergirl learns Cassandra and the League of Assassins are trying to kill her. She confronts them and Cassandra attacks with red sun swords. But Kara suddenly grows crystal spines, stabbing Batgirl. The spines just as quickly disappear. Dark Angel (who hired Cassandra) observes all. Back at his place, by a wall covered with Supergirl photos, Power Boy takes a call from her asking for help.

Indexer Notes

Story continued from the previous issue, and continues in the next issue. Streaky is finally called by name in this story. In this issue, Power Boy is labeled as Powerboy, but the preferred spelling later appears to be Power Boy (see DC Nation column #45).
