Synopsis:
Supergirl and Power Boy are on patrol together, and kiss. They go back to her apartment, but she leaves to find out who is trying to kill her (after having a disagreement where he briefly grabs her wrist to restrain her). Before Power Boy can leave, he overhears Boomer leaving a message that he is badly hurt. Supergirl goes to the Batcave to use its computer, and tracks that Cassandra Cain and the League of Assassins is trying to kill her. She then goes to a building to confront them. It's a trap, with red sun lights, and Cassandra attacks as Batgirl, with red sun swords. She gains the upper hand, and is about to eliminate Kara, when Kara (who has been thinking about what her father did to her) suddenly grows crystal spines, stabbing through Batgirl. The spines just as quickly disappear again. Dark Angel (who hired Cassandra) observes all of this. Power Boy is back at his place, takes a call from Supergirl asking for his help, but we see he obsessively has a full wall covered with Supergirl photos.

Indexer Notes

Story continued from the previous issue, and continues in the next issue. Streaky is finally called by name in this story. In this issue, Power Boy is labeled as Powerboy, but the preferred spelling later appears to be Power Boy (see DC Nation column #45).
