Synopsis
Doctors perform medical tests on Michael and tell him that the cancer has moved to his entire body and he doesn't have much longer to live. The Catholic church begins to monitor a young man who raised a boy from the dead in Central Park. They also put a hit out on Michael for killing a priest during a recent mission. Gaby and the police move in on a serial killer who has been targeting young boys. Three professional assassins try to take Michael out in a bar but he gets the best of them and gets to go home with the stripper.

Synopsis
After spending a little "quality" time with the stripper, Sugar, Deathblow is attacked by killer priests who only succeed in shooting his "date." Trickle slaughters an orphanage full of kids trying to kill the chosen child but Sister Mary has already escaped with Christopher. Michael has a Latin book translated that talks of the Brotherhood of the Cross and the healing power of the Holy Grail. Gabrielle visits Mike and talks to him about his terminal cancer. The Black Angel attacks and takes the symbols that will resurrect the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

Synopsis
Michael heads to Philadelphia looking for the mysterious Order of the Cross. Unfortunately, the church thinks that Deathblow is the killer gunning for their promised child so Sister Mary attacks him when he arrives. Once things get straightened out, Deathblow has to rescue Mary and Christopher from the real killer, Trickle. Michael witnesses Christopher raise a boy from the dead.

Synopsis
Deathblow takes Sister Mary and Christopher to the headquarters of the Order of the Cross at Montcairn Abbey. After Michael makes his confession, he is allowed a sip from the Holy Grail to cure him of his cancer. Gaby discovers that Trickle has murdered Michael's doctor and battles him. Even though it is revealed that Mike's ex-wife is, quite literally, an angel, Trickle is still able to capture her.

Synopsis
The Black Angel and his forces attack Montcairn Abbey and, despite the best efforts of Deathblow and Sister Mary, succeed in capturing Christopher. Michael discovers that Father O'Conner let him drink from a fake Holy Grail because he did not make a full confession of his sins. Mike fesses up and is allowed to drink from the true Grail to be healed of his cancer. Michael and Mary then prepare to go after the boy.

Synopsis
The Black Angel takes Christopher to the top of the World Trade Center in New York where he resurrects the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Michael and Mary attempt to rescue Gabrielle who has been strung up and tortured by Trickle. They succeed but Mike is badly wounded and Gaby gives up the rest of her angelic powers as well as her life to heal her ex-husband. Allies arrive to help out their pal, Deathblow.

Synopsis
After defeating the four horsemen, Deathblow and his allies turn their attentions toward saving Christopher from the Black Angel. Michael realizes how to repair the Sword of Heaven and uses the weapon to dispatch the Black Angel for good. Christopher heals Deathblow of his wounds and is taken to Heaven by angels. Michael buries his ex-wife.
