Labelled on the cover Approved Comics (St. John, 1954 series) #7, indicia credits this as The Hawk, Vol. 1 #6.
Originally credited "Frank Bolle ?".
Artwork identical to the signed "Dry River Rampage" in #3, and also credited by JVJon at Digital Comics Museum. Notice the very thin inklines in many of the faces and on horses in both stories.
Originally credited to Al Carreno.
Artwork is the same as on all the covers of "Tex Ganger" (Parents Inc.), and Bjorklund is credited to Tex Granger in Jerry Bails' Who's Who. Compare gunholsters, hats and faces, and particularly the horses.
In "Frogman Comics" #6 (Hillman) are two stories; "The Floating Mint" and "Frogman's Pacific Jonah", credited to Lorence Bjorklund. The faces and inklines are identical to this story, so the artist must be the same, Lorence Bjorklund.
JVJon at Digital Comics Museum credits this story to Bjorklund with "?".
Art ID by Steinar Ådland 2011.
