- On Gotham's East End, a man picks up a sex worker, but then kills her when she is upset by his face.
Selina Kyle, recently returned to Gotham, tries to decide what she's doing with her life. She is reunited with her old friend Holly, who she feels protective of. Holly lets her know that several sex workers have been killed over the past few weeks.

- Synopsis
- On Gotham's East End, "Greg", whose face we still can't see, picks up another sex worker, Mindy. She reacts badly to seeing his face, and he kills her. Selina, after talking to Holly, has decided to become the protector of the East End. She beaks into the GCPD and makes copies of the police reports on the dead sex workers. A man coming into an alley finds "Greg", covered in blood, sitting in a car with Mindy's corpse and yells for help. Selina arrives to find the car, the corpse, and "Greg's" bloody clothing, abandoned. She hides when the cops come and listens to the witness' story.

- Synopsis
- Selina tracks the car plates to a used car dealer who gives her a physical description of the suspect. She goes undercover, posing as a sex worker at an East End bar. She encounters him without realizing it, scaring him off, then realizes it was him and he can change his face. She searches the area for him. "Todd" picks up another sex worker instead and takes her back to his place. He starts to lose control of the shape of his face and the woman runs out, panicking. As he starts to pursue, Selina arrives.

The suspect from the previous issues is here revealed to be a man who looks like Todd Russell, "the actor", but doesn't sound like the actor. We then learn he can change his face, quickly and easily.

- Synopsis
- Selina confronts the new Clayface, learning he's an amnesiac shapechanger who doesn't know his real name or how he got his powers. He thinks he was a soldier who was experimented on. He has been killing sex workers unintentionally, panicking when his shape changing slips and the women freak out. He freaks out in turn when Selina offers to help him. She defeats him and calls Batman to help with the cleanup.
