Issue Notes

The on-sale date is the publication date reported in the U. S. copyright registration filing.

With this issue, the title became Marvel's first direct-market exclusive series. Previous issues had been available through the newsstand distribution system. The title was joined as a direct-market exclusive the following week by Moon Knight, and the next month by The Micronauts. The three series were distinguished from the rest of Marvel's color-comics line by having no outside advertising or barcodes on the cover.
