- Synopsis
- Following a tussle with Magneto and his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, the Blob regains his memory. This causes his name to light up on Cerebro. Scott calls upon the X-Men to battle the evil mutants. During the battle, Magneto shoots missiles at the X-Men, even though the Blob is in the line of fire. The Blob, feeling betrayed, decides to return to carnival life.

- Synopsis
- 24-hours have passed and the effects of the "Paralyser" are wearing off. The Link is being held at gunpoint again but this time he no longer has his super-strength. He is jailed (again!) Lita Munro wants to visit the Link but she is denied access. Dr. Kelso, however, wants to know why the Link was impervious to the effects of the Paralyser He constructs a miniature version (which only paralyzes people for 30 minutes) and uses it on some policemen as he abducts the Link and takes him to his hide-out. Kelso plans to operate on the Link. He leaves the room, allowing the Link to ponder his fate!
