Claire; Larry; Shiela
Synopsis
When Claire moved to a new school, she began dating Larry and tried hard to fit in with the friends in his clique. But Shiela was jealous of the attention Larry was giving the new girl and did eveything she could to humiliate Claire and make her feel like an outsider. The final indignation came at an assembly where Shiela made Claire look the fool. When Claire ran out of the auditorium, mortified, Larry caught up with her to tell her that he knew what Shiela had done and that it didn't matter since she was the one he loved.

Synopsis
Donna was the school's best female athlete, but she was really crazy about swing music and wanted to learn to play the trumpet so she could play in a band. When Eddie told her he'd teach her, she was beside herself. Donna thought things were going great with Eddie and then he asked her out. But, at the concert, she ran into Hillary, Eddie's steady girlfriend, who told her he was doing this to prevent her from making the band. At the tryouts, Donna blew them away, and Eddie admits that she was great. "All it takes," said Donna, "was the right man."
