Introduction to the Americomics line (later renamed AC). Article details some never-published features intended for this book: A book-length Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) story by Rik Levins, a story by Leo Laney introducing Ms. Blue Beetle, a Captain Atom story by Ben Smith and Dan Reed, and Magniton the Magnetic Man by June Brigman. The first three stories were not published due to DC acquiring the rights to the Charlton heroes. Another feature intended for Americomics, Astron (art by June Brigman), was eventually published in Venture (AC, 1986 series) #1.
