- Synopsis
- In Bahrain, Craig Lawson seeks to stop a terrorist from blowing up an oil refinery. He also meets Phoenicia, a beautiful dancer and counter-spy. The two share a history as well.

The character of Phoenicia is based on George Perez's wife Carol, who is a belly dancer and goes by the stage name of "Phoenicia."
Per the editorial in issue #2, Perez penciled the strip in layout form and began finishing the art when he became ill. Dave Cockrum volunteered to finish the art subverting his normal style and closely following Perez's so that the work looked seamless. Nick Caputo detects Cockrum's involvement on pages 2 and 5-10.

- Connie finds out that a small time thug is shaking down all the residents of her grandmother's retirement home. She and Janus work together using the Menthor helmet to locate him, eliminate the cancer that causes him to do evil, and realigns his personality so he takes full responsibility for his actions and only does good from here on.
