Synopsis:

With the world in chaos (thanks in part to the deaths of Professor X, Cyclops and Jean Grey at the hands of Cable last issue), Magneto unites a horde of mutants under his control and fights earth's heroes in his bid to take over the country; He wins, but the president activates an army of Sentinels as he is forced out of office; The Sentinels slowly take over and are finally able to destroy Magneto and his forces with a nuke; With the US now a Sentinel police state, Wolverine breaks a small group of mutants out of prison and re-forms the X-Men.
