Index revised and publisher confirmed as Superior by Gary Watson, October 2008.
Asch is credited, but not confirmed on this feature by Jerry Bails' Who's Who. The artwork with many googly-eyed faces and straight upturned noses, and some protuding lower lips, matches his stories in Lawbreakers Suspen Stories, one signed. Also The Voice stories in Feature Comics have some of these googly eyes. Most probably his work, but as he is not confirmed, a questionmark.
This Yankee Girl is unrelated to Kitty Kelly, who sometimes used the name in earlier Chesler / Superior comics. Full scan of story available at http://www.fortunecity.com/victorian/hartford/103/32three1.html
Beck is credited on this feature by Jerry Bails' Who's Who, and the art is similar to his credited stories of Prehistoric Pete in Red Seal Comics.
This artwork is in some indexes credited to Gus Ricca and in some to Pete Riss. Especially the faces with broad chin and a little dent in the middle are signs of one artist, and most probably Ricca, as he is credited on more than Riss. The same artist is credited on Ibis the Invincible and the Ricca sample on Jerry Bails' Who's Who.
