- Synopsis
- London, 1853. Scientist Hinsdale works on a potion to alter man for the better. When he transforms a rival into a hideous fiend, he won’t complain either. In the end the beast turns against his creator – who had been tricked all along by the forces of evil.

- Synopsis
- While fishing during a storm Johnny throws Hilton overboard because he had been stealing money from the firm. Unfortunately the storm gets worse and Johnny has to jump overboard with a lifejacket on. Eventually they both get to a very small island. Johnny is asleep when a sleeping Hilton washes up on the shore by him. When Johnny wakes up he tries to throw Hilton into the sea but he keeps washing back up. He then buries him but decides to dig him up, tie a rock around his neck, and throw him into the ocean. Unfortunately, no one comes by to rescue Johnny and he gets very lonely.

- Synopsis
- Testing rats in his laboratory, Tompson is amazed at one large rat whose intelligence is greater than the others and keeps avoiding Tompson's traps. Tompson finally decides to lock the rat in a room with poisoned food to see if it will eat the food from hunger but the rat escapes the lab and locks Tompson inside, leaving him to face the dilemma for himself.

- Satan sends an emissary to a horror story publisher so that he will read the scroll of suffering and be transported to Hell. Satan wants his soul because the stories he publishes turn people away from evil, but he cannot collect it until he is dead, so he puts the curse of Satan upon the publisher to kill the first person he sees (as then he will be executed for the crime), and sends him back.
