Doomsday continues his assault on Superman, but this time he has help from Supergirl, her parents, and the other Kryptonians from Kandor. They push the fight to the moon, where the Kandorians dogpile on Doomsday and beat him to death, with Superman and Supergirl looking on. Zod's soldiers go to the Fortress, and decide to release Zod from the Phantom Zone, but are stopped by Nightwing and Flamebird.

Indexer Notes

Story continued from Superman (DC, 2006 series) #681, and continues in Supergirl (DC, 2005 series) #35. The part number in the title probably should be part 4, not part 2, based on the cover shield numbering.
