Superman then meets up with the Kryptonians and Supergirl in Kandor, and leads a delegation of them to Metropolis to meet the President of the United States. The President jokes that Supergirl's parents owe him a new plane, but their meeting is interrupted by a fireball crashing. Emerging from it: Doomsday.

Indexer Notes

Story continued from Superman: New Krypton Special (DC, 2008 series) #1, and continues in Action Comics (DC, 1938 series) #871. The U.S. President here resembles George W. Bush, but he mentions the incident in Amazons Attack (#4) where Supergirl brought down Air Force One; and that president looked different.
