- Sam, Dani and Xi'an hang out in a bar in SoMa marveling at how mutants can just be ordinary people in San Francisco. Scott and Emma try to find clues in the Hellfire Cult's hideout, and Emma appears to be more "wildly inappropriate" than usual. The rest of the team tries to intercept the fleeing Empath, who takes them out one by one, only to be taken down by Pixie, who decided not to leave the team after all. As everyone celebrates at a Dazzler show, Scott finds out that Emma doesn't think anything interesting happened while they were at the Hellfire Cult, after which he sees Madelyne Pryor walking through the crowd. Elsewhere, we see Madelyne recruit Chimera into her Sisterhood.
