Synopsis
The FF help Surfer break the barrier of Galactus, ending his exile on Earth & granting him the freedom to roam the spaceways once again. The Surfer returns to Zenn-La to reunite with his love Shalla-Bal but finds that after he betrayed Galactus on Earth, the world eater devastated his home world in retaliation. Informed by the survivors that Shalla-Bal was captured by the demon Mephisto, the Surfer flies back to Earth & battles the monster in his own realm for her freedom. Beaten but still victorious, Mephisto returns Shalla-Bal to her home world while the Surfer is again trapped on Earth.

Synopsis

Synopsis
The Kree/Skrull war continues to escalate. Surfer learns from the beaten Obliterator that the Elders are meeting on Earth to test a weapon that will kill Galactus. The Supreme Intelligence thinks that it ferrets out a traitor to the Kree but the wrong alien is killed and Nenora, a Skrull spy, remains high up in the Kree hierarchy. Preparing to travel to Earth, the Surfer and Mantis split up as Norrin receives a call of distress from Shalla-Bal.

Synopsis
Galactus eats five of the Elders and then sends the Surfer and Nova after the one that got away-the Contemplator. Sticking around for a while, the two heralds witness an awesome meeting between Galactus and Eternity. Synopsis
The High Evolutionary tasks the Eternals with mapping the Silver Surfer's DNA. Interfering with a battle between SS and the Super-Skrull, the Eternals return the two to earth to complete their mission. The Surfer ends up freeing his old foe and showing the Eternals the error of their ways.

Synopsis
Surfer heads to earth to collect Reed and Sue and brings them along with (in a dubious parenting choice) Franklin to the dying Galactus who seems to be expiring from Elder indigestion (he ate five of them a few issues ago). Our heroes enter a black hole which teleports them to a magic dimension where they confront the three Elders who did not get swallowed by the planet eater. Sue is overcome by the evil Malice persona.
