Synopsis:
While transporting Darius Tiko, the Wizard of Time, back through the time stream (in Challengers of the Unknown 4), Tiko crashes the time cube in Metropolis and runs off. The Challengers realize it's not 1958 but 1994 and dash to the Daily Planet building for information. Tiko gets mugged. Punks grab his four rings of power and become rampaging elementals. The Challengers meet Perry White, then attack the monsters until Superman steps in. Tiko pulls a ring and creates a vacuum (the fifth element) even Superman can't buck. Ace circles and puts a .45 to Tiko's head. The elementals wind down and the Challengers drag Tiko back into the time cube for 1958. Superman reflects on the non-super heroes' bravery - and its cost - as he flies over a memorial to dead Prof Haley.
