When the series was cancelled partway into an 18-issue planned story arc, series writer Jim Shooter was asked to condense his last several issues into 1 to wrap up the series, but he refused. An unknown DC staffer rewrote this issue from Shooter's script, but Shooter requested that his name be withdrawn and denies having anything to do with the writing in this issue. The pseudonym "Justin Thyme" was credited as writer of the story, but is not the same person with Colors or Pencils credits elsewhere in the GCD.
