Synopsis
Kate and Trudie are flat-mates and secretaries in the same office pool. Trudie points to the newspaper and tells Kate that "Marrying Marty" is the man she is going to marry. Kate thinks it is a joke because Marty got his nickname for being engaged seven times without getting married. The boss is in one of his bad moods due to an ulcer when Marty arrives to see Henry late in the day. When Marty forgets his briefcase, Trudie uses it as an excuse to introduce herself to him. Meanwhile, with his regular secretary out with a headache, Kate starts taming "Hell-Fire Henry".
It's always the same on Monday morning with the inquests on the weekend's dates. Pru is always able to find another boy to date, but feels sorry for Janice who hasn't even had a first boyfriend. Then one day Janice announces she's found somebody. When work forces Janice to work late, she asks Pru to meet him and explain. Derek had intended to take Janice skating, so he invites Pru to join him. Pru and Derek have a wonderful time and they feel an immediate attraction to each other. Pru doesn't want to hurt Janice, but she does take much more interest in the next inquest on the weekend dates.
