Synopsis:
Superman confronts Zor-El and Alura after teams of Kandorians have captured several of Superman's enemies and banished them to the Phantom Zone, killing seven policemen in the process. He demands to know who did the killings, but Alura ignores him. She leads them into Brainiac's headship, where the Kandorians are trying to figure out how to free the cities and other beings that were captured, including Ultra and the Creature Commandos. In the meantime, some of Zod's men are still patrolling the Earth, and run across Metallo and Reactron, who surprisingly surrender to the Kryptonians. Luthor is experimenting on Brainiac, and proves that he can control at least part of Brainiac. Zod's men arrive in Kandor with Metallo and Reactron, but Metallo sends a signal to Luthor, who activates Brainiac's probes and releases the captured beings. Alura thinks her team has freed them, but as the probes attack, it distracts the city. Reactron reveals that he has gold kryptonite, which takes away Kryptonian's powers for 15 seconds, long enough to be killed. The fight is on, as Reactron makes his way toward Supergirl. Zor-El intercepts, but is rewarded by having a hole blown through his chest.
