- Synopsis:
- Luthor and General Lane discuss the Kryptonian situation. The battle has begun over Kandor. The heroes have some success against the Kryptonians, but suddenly the city is dislodged from the Arctic ice, a dome appears over it, and all the Kandorians enter it (with Supergirl too). The city then takes off into space, grows crystals under it, and forms a planet, settling in orbit opposite to Earth's orbit around the sun. With the immediate threat gone, Superman visits with his family in Smallville. Agent Liberty spies on Luthor and General Lane, but is detected and killed by Superwoman. Supergirl is assigned quarters on New Krypton by Alura, but Alura ends up discussing her daughter with Zod, Ursa, and Non.
Story continued from Superman (DC, 2006 series) #683.
