Indexer Notes

Original indexer credited Reed Crandall as penciler and Chuck Cuidera as the inker. The membership of The Reed Crandall Appreciation page on Facebook states this cover is by Alex Kotzky. Roger Hill reported when he interviewed Kotzky in the 1980s, Alex told him that editor "Busy" Arnold had Kotzky pre-make a number of covers for the comic book in case he was drafted during the Second World War. This cover might have been from the leftover inventory of that work (15 December 2020, https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=10158174177921173&set=gm.2782898841957…).
