In the Llongo villages, as the king wrestles with problems of statecraft...

Synopsis
A gang in bulletproof great ape costumes kidnap the Llongo King despite the efforts of his warriors. Forces him to learn their 'language' the gang plans to use the villagers to destroy the jungle patrol and get rich. Investigate a theft of gold Patrolman Smythe is captured and sentenced to death by the 'apes'. The Phantom rescues him just in time, but investigating afterwards is captured, and left to die in a burning building because he discovered the gang's secret. Escaping and returning with surprise on his side the Phantom defeats the 'apes' and turns them over to Patrolman Smythe.

Synopsis
Queen and Jack haven't returned from hunting having suffered a misadventure, and King is worried. While he's searching for them, Queen discovers he has a broken leg and is trapped while Jack is down below unconscious. While waiting for Jack to wake, Queen has to hold off some lions with his pistol, as his rifle is down below with Jack. Jack wakes in time to defend himself, but runs out of bullets before he runs out of lions. Luckily King arrives in time to take out the last lion.

Synopsis
Henry has a soapbox car he's playing with and toots his horn at a girl to give her a ride. She wants nothing to do with it and Henry finds a dog to give a ride. He then finds a chauffeur who gives him and the dog a ride while towing the soapbox. They pass the girl who is surprised at the sight.
