- Synopsis
- Robin and a yoeman who split his arrow win an archery contest De Lacy holds to build up his army. Declining an invitation to change to the Sheriff's livery earns the Fitzooths De Lacy anonimity. In retaliation Robin and his father are ambushed on their return home as De Lacy begins his tyrannical rule of Nottingham. His father assassinated Robin takes the offense. The story details his efforts to right the wrongs. Germany capturing the King demands a huge ransom and Prince John blames Robin for his inability to pay.
