Bill Walsh 1 is credited to Kid Colt in Jerry Bails's Who's Who for 1949. This is a 1948 issue, so it is not far off. Comparing the art with the only known signed story on GCD, "Simba" in Jungle Comics #115, the face in sideview with squared off chin, the rendering of fine rounded califlower clouds, and fingers spread out on the back of the child in Simba, all this match the Kid Colt artwork. The inking differs from the Simba story. Art ID by Steinar Ådland, march 2011.
