Synopsis
A retired Kimiyo Hoshi returns home to find her house has been invaded by the Shadow Cabinet. As she tries to find her sons, she is stopped by Hardware -- after she sends out a JLA distress signal. Meanwhile, Black Canary discovers the inter-spacial meeting room, and reminds Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman to stop undermining her authority as team leader. As Hardware and Iota break into the League's headquarters to get the remains of the first Dr. Light, they are stopped by the rest of the League. Iota then brings the rest of the Shadow Cabinet members to the League's headquarters.

Synopsis
Infiltrating the League's headquarters, Shadow Thief creates evil versions of both the Justice League and the Shadow Cabinet, offering their lives as a sacrifice to his "dark god." In addition, he creates a shadow of the moon to collide with the earth. Only the two teams working together can save the planet.

Synopsis
Following the deaths of Batman and the Martian Manhunter -- and the announcement that Hal Jordan is starting his own Justice League team --Superman, Wonder Woman, Arsenal, Hawkgirl, Black Lightning and Flash decide to leave the League, all for personal reasons. Left with only a handful of members remaining, Black Canary disbands the team.

Synopsis
With the League down to only five members, they decide they eventually need a leader and some other members. Dr. Light and Firestorm go to question Shadow Thief, who uses their interrogation to escape and teleport his god to earth-- Starbreaker! Starbreaker then drains Dr. Light of some her power -- from the star named Vega-- and he and the Shadow Thief escape. But not before Dr. Light follows them into a dimension of total darkness.
