Synopsis
Luke Cage is out buying some milk but is attacked by a cop and SHIELD await him outside. The New Avengers found out that Captain America is alive but being held in secret. When Dr. Strange confirms that it isn't a trap they attack only to discover that it is an elaborate fake set by Iron Man. In the present, the New Avengers hide the wounded Maya at Silver Samurai's ancestral home unfortunately the Hand and Electra are not far behind.

Synopsis
Iron Man thinks that he has caught the New Avengers but didn't count on Dr. Strange being in the battle. Iron Man goes to the sanctum of Dr. Strange but cannot find anyone due to the cloaking spell. ext Danny Rand is confronted with the evidence in his office but he simply denies any knowledge if it. Dakota North turns up with a letter for Daredevil from Maya Lopez. The New Avengers decide to rescue her but Brother Voodoo arrives at the sanctum and begins to work his magic. In the present, the New Avengers begin a fresh battle against Elektra and the Hand.

Synopsis
Brother Voodoo uses his magic to determine if the New Avengers are in the sanctum of Dr. Strange. Clint Barton shows up at the sanctum and joins the New Avengers as Ronin. Dr. Strange casts a spell to determine the individual intentions of the New Avengers and is happy to find that all are loyal to the cause. The New Avengers head to Japan to rescue Maya. In the present, The New Avengers battle Elektra and the Hand. However Maya, who has come under the Hand's control, stabs Dr. Strange.
