Dan-El shows Natongo follow a herd of buffalo through a cleft in a mountain. Ten tall Mindmasters take over Natongo's mind, turning him against Dan-El and usurping his kingdom. Dan-El sneaks into the kingdom of Natongo and captures Azoroth, a Mindmaster. Dan-El and his guards carry Azoroth, the captured Mindmaster, to Gathongo the Wise for advice. Dan-El sneaks into Natongo's kingdom with a truth drug from Gathongo. After Zulena puts it in their breakfast, Dan-El commands them to remove all of their spells. After a trial, Dan-El, Natongo and their men entomb the Mindmasters in a tunnel.
This is an expanded version of the "Brothers of the Spear" story-line in Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan (Dell, 1948 series) #129-131 and Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan of the Apes (Western, 1962 series) #132.
