- Synopsis
- Vril Dox arrives on Earth, pursued by three bounty hunters, in search of Supergirl, whom a subspace transmission with no apparent origin told him to seek out. When he says a trigger word, Supergirl burns the instructions for a device on a disc with her heat vision. Once constructed, the device allows a program created by Brainiac 5 in the 31st century to be transmitted directly into Vril Dox' brain so that Brainiac 5 can ensure that the House of Dox not end with Vril. Elsewhere, the Omega Men encounter Dox' old organization, L.E.G.I.O.N., now under someone else's control.

But Dox chooses his own path, taking over control of the bounty hunters' semi-sentient weapon Tribulus. Starting a recruiting drive, Dox finds the Omega Men and tries to co-opt Elu, then heads to Starhaven and gathers social outcast Wildstar.

Finding Maltus under the control of a Starro-infestation, Dox decides to change course, but is confronted by Captain Ciji. Meanwhile, the Omega Men, whom Dox had abandoned on Maltus, are beamed aboard a Psion ship and asked to face an armada of Starro-controlled aliens.

- Synopsis
- Captain Ciji tells Dox that she is not after the bounty on him, but represents the Shadow Council of Durla, which wants a return to the prior order. But the being who took control of L.E.G.I.O.N., Astrild Storm-Daughter, arrives and explains to Dox that her master wants the Coluan to serve him. In the midst of these discussions, Dox sends Wildstar to Maltus to collect the remains of Silica, and Amon Hakk secretly boards Dox's ship. Dox rejects both offers and directs his ship away. Meanwhile, the Psions inform the Omega Men that Starro the Conqueror, who is Astrild’s master, is their target.

- Synopsis
- After Starro conquers the Dominator homeworld, he heads back to Maltus. Meanwhile, Vril Dox talks Amon Hakk out of killing him, though he really never could have killed Dox since his blaster was actually Captain Ciji in disguise. Wildstar returns to Dox' ship with Silica, but in order for her to override the defenses on Maltus now under Starro's control they will need to fight the Gordanians to secure a subspace transmitter. Once they have acquired it, Dox uses Silica to turn the peacekeepers on Maltus into a shield around the entire perimeter of the planet, trapping Starro and his forces.
