Jerry wants to take his nephew Renfro and Witch Kraft on a cross country trip during Renfro's spring break. Renfro convinces Jerry to let him invite three friends but so many other kids crash the vacation that they destroy Jerry's car. Jerry's only solution is to call Mr. Hal and ask to borrow one of his buses. Mr. Hal is forced to loan the bus and go with Jerry when two loan sharks threaten to kill his brother unless he drops off some packages for them. Mr. Hal convinces Jerry to drop off the packages and everything goes OK (but weird) until the final drop off. Then the federal agents watching Jerry think he is on their side (although he doesn't know what they are talking about) and the loan sharks watching Jerry think he has double-crossed them and Jerry is caught in a crossfire. Fortunately, Renfro and the other boys get him out of the mess.
