Synopsis

Shaman arrives and informs Alpha Flight that Snowbird's problem is she is pregnant. When the elder gods refuse to help Shaman find a place of power to deliver the baby, he turns to Doctor Strange. Byrrah arrives at the Avengers compound and tells Namor that Attuma is ruling Atlantis and has captured Marrina. Namor quits the team to go and save his lady love.

Synopsis

Sandman helps Spidey and Sable fight off the Sinister Syndicate. Jack O' Lantern frees Flash Thompson from jail, thinking he is the Hobgoblin. The real Hobgoblin intervenes and a battle ensues.

Synopsis

Cap gets a psychic distress signal from a woman he rescued from Morgan Hardy and enters the complex of August Masters who plans on using the powers of the world's foremost psychics to start World War III. Finding the Defenders already captured, Cap helps in their rescue and stays behind to cover their escape. Rather than watch everyone in the complex die from Masters' self destruct mechanism, Cap and the Defenders allow themselves to be taken prisoner once again.
