Indexer Notes

Art previously credited to Ray Gill; the extent of Ray Gill's work is currently unknown. As per Ray's brother Joe, Ray never drew for Archie Comics; rather, he wrote the scripts and outlined the stories (Charlton Spotlight #5). While some stories of this era signed only by Gill do have a different look from Vigoda's, the pencils here match those of Vigoda.

She replies, "Er..no..but you must have the wrong number, Archie. This is Betty Cooper speaking!". He says he knows, and she faints. Thinking she's waking from a dream, and then realizing she hasn't, she gets dressed in her best white dress. She's anticipating romance, and Archie shows up in a flannel shirt and jeans, to read a book. Betty gets mad when he won't kiss her goodnight, and throws a pie at his face.
