Homem de Ferro [Anthony Stark]; Pepper Potts; Felisberto Hogan; Conde Nefarius; Congelador (in dream); Dínamo Fantástico (in dream); Cavaleiro Negro (in dream); Magma (in dream); Gargantus (in dream); Unicórnio (in dream)
The Dream-Maker (formerly Count Nefaria) creates hallucinations ("dreams") in which Iron Man must battle some of his former enemies in his sleep. Iron Man then travels to Ireland in pursuit of an unhappy Happy, who walked off in a huff last issue. The Dream-Maker continues to torment Iron Man. Iron Man battles bravely and a ranting Dream-Master feels he must add more power to his machine. This results in a short-circuit which causes the machine to explode. Iron Man dismisses the episode as just a dream. Meanwhile, Pepper calls Pepper and persuades him to return to the States.
Happy has returned to Stark's factory. Pepper is very pleased to see him but Happy doubts her sincerity. Stark's philandering cousin, Morgan, envious of Tony's success, agrees to help Count Nefaria in his scheme to discredit Stark. This involves Tony witnessing and reporting a (fake) alien invasion. Believing Stark to be delusional, Senator Byrd is ready to pull the plug on his contracts. When some real aliens turn up they are chased off by Iron Man. Morgan is compelled to verify Tony's version of events. Tony's good name is restored. Morgan must explain himself to a displeased Nefaria.
