- Synopsis
- A year later, Bucky had antlers. One day he disappeared, off with other deer. Tommy and Dennis left for the round-up. White Wind stayed to guard Mary and the baby. A range bum rode in. Mary fed him on the porch. He got handsy. White Wind knocked him down. He drew. Mary disarmed him. Riding off, he pulled a rifle to shoot the dog. Mary's bullet hit his rifle. White Wind pursued. A shot! Bucky was down! The bum walked with a knife! The dog knocked him down. Bucky, rose from the antler hit, and charged. Bum fled up a tree. The dog chased off his horse, and went home.
