Synopsis
Dr. Arnold buys corpses from Mrs. Slade's gang. However, the police capture the gang in the act. The "dead body" they sold Arnold turns out to be Peggy, who was to rob the house during the night. Arnold falls in love with Peggy and decides to marry her while the rest of Mrs. Slade's gang are arrested.

Synopsis
Henry kills his boss Dobbs at night, but Tom sees him leaving. Henry seemingly kills Tom and leaves his body in Charles' office, but the next day Henry keeps seeing Tom around the office. Henry is driven mad and leaps out the building to his death, not realizing the police arranged for Tom to ply at Henry's guilty conscience by posing as his own ghost.

Tom and Lucy stay at a villa where Josephine Adams once mysteriously disappeared from a balcony. The same thing happens to Lucy, but she's found in the Blue Grotto below and saved in a boat. The boat tips over and Countess Luchesi drowns, but Count Luchesi admits his jealous wife was the person hurling women from the balconies.
