Issue Notes

There are two versions of this issue in existence. The original printing includes an ad for DC's The Absolute V for Vendetta. Because this was deemed inappropriate for an all-ages comic, that printing was recalled, and one with a replacement ad sent out two weeks later.

"Printed by Quad/Graphics, Montreal, QC, Canada. 2/18/11" - per indicia.

Indexer Notes

"Terrible Terry Harris" is an amalgam of Pittsburgh Steelers fullback Franco Harris and quarterback Terry Bradshaw. "The Ridiculous Recovery" is a parody/tribute to "The Immaculate Reception", a forever celebrated 1972 pass play from Terry Bradshaw to Franco Harris via an indirect and unconventional route.

The basic structure of the name "Terrible Terry Harris" is derived from another Pittsburgh Steelers great, "Mean Joe Greene". "Marty the Maniac" may also be an amalgam of one-time New York sports radio host Chris "Mad-Dog" Russo" and former New York Giants and New York Jets broadcaster Marty Glickman. Susan Stewart, radio host of "Susan's Happy Home", is a parody/tribute to homemaking industry queen Martha Stewart.

Hanna-Barbera and Snoop Dog References combined with a Double Entendre: Shaggy and Scooby play "DJ" at the radio station:
