Superman [Clark Kent]; Lois Lane; Henry Meecher Judge; Shama
Synopsis
Henry Meecher claims to own all the land in Metropolis. In court, he produces a document to prove that the sale of the land by Chief Gray Wolf in 1644 was illegal. The judge rules in his favor, and Meecher sets about demanding exorbitant rents or raze the buildings. Superman travels back in time to the point of the original sale. Gray Wolf is deposed as chief, but still sells the land to the settlers. The tribe make Superman their chief and sell the land in his name. Back in the present he brings evidence to show that, in fact, HE is the legal owner of all the land in Metropolis.
